'We’re seeing an incredibly buoyant sales market at the moment,' says Soren Ravaux, Sales Director at Waterview. For example I was instructed on a property in East Molesey on Monday, by Monday evening the team had generated 17 viewings for the following day prior to the property going live on our website. We received multiple offers and the property sold well in excess of the asking price,' says Soren. 'People buy their dream homes through us and we advise those out looking not to wait around, if you like what you see, jump in quickly. With many people realising they can work from home, buyers have shifted their focus onto investing in their quality of life and that means living on the river.'
'The lettings market along the river is much more active this year than last year,' says Bobby Coshall, Lettings Manager at Waterview London Bridge. 'Now is a great time to let your property, the number of applicants registering have increased dramatically in recent weeks,' says Bobby. 'It seems tenants are focusing more on wellbeing and are upsizing/downsizing in equal measures all along the river. In particular, they are looking for outside space from a balcony to a roof terrace or access to large open spaces. Our instruction numbers are nearly double our busy summer market rush, this is due to a handful of people moving towards the city for a shorter commute and those moving upstream away from the city now they are able to work from home.'
